Why Attention Copilot Works ❊

Root-Cause Productivity
We procrastinate and get distracted because of inner conflict, not a lack of tools or systems. Attention Copilot sessions help you dissolve the internal barriers to getting stuff done. Once you identify, welcome, and resolve the conflicting parts inside of you, productivity becomes vastly easier—and more fun.

01

Guidance While You Work
You can meditate. You can go to therapy. You can do breathwork. All those things can be helpful! But what happens when you sit down to work? All too often, avoidance and distraction arise. Your Attention Copilot coach actually guides you through the act of working itself, so that you can find ease and joy in the midst of taking action.

02

Access High-Performance States
We’ve all been there: You have an important task to complete or project to work on, but you’re just not “feeling it.” You’re a little off. Maybe you’re feeling stressed and anxious. Your Attention Pilot coach will help you work through any resistance you’re experiencing so that you can find your naturally attentive, clear state of mind.

03

Generate Flow On Demand
We’re not only coaching you in the moment. You’re learning skills that you can apply over time. While we love working with every client, we don’t want you to be wholly dependent on us. Our goal is to help you learn how to find flow and joy whenever you need it most, not just to sell you more sessions.

Hey there!

I’m Pranab, cofounder of Attention Copilot.

In 2023, I found myself burned out, distracted, and procrastinating way more than usual.

I had a project — important but not urgent — that I'd put off for literal months. I was going through some intense personal stress, and my work avoidance only added to the constant background anxiety.

I turned to all my usual productivity tools and tricks. Pomodoro timers, Notion boards, meditation, virtual coworking, and various therapies, from Internal Family Systems to somatic experiencing.

But whenever it came time to actually get the project done, I kept delaying.

Out of total desperation, I paid a highly skilled coach to sit with me while I worked.

What unfolded over the next hour felt nearly miraculous!

My coach didn’t simply “hold me accountable” just to help me “get stuff done.” She actually helped me resolve the inner conflict that was keeping me from tackling the project in the first place — as it was arising, in real time.

After an initial period of discomfort, I suddenly found myself in a state of flow, and made more progress in minutes than I had in months.

Each time a new inner conflict arose that made me want to check my phone or open Twitter, she helped me resolve it in real time with attunement. And by the end, it surprisingly became effortless, and even joyful.

In that single session, I went from anxious and avoidant to focused and productive. And, to my surprise, it carried through for the rest of the day.

After multiple sessions, that flow during work became a new skill. I could move towards it by myself, even when my coach wasn’t on Zoom with me.

Over time, I took that seed of an experience and across hundreds of hours of experimentation, I’ve turned it into a step-by-step process that we now call Attention Copilot.

What I’ve realized over time is this:

The key to performance is learning how to vastly increase the quality of our attention. And that’s what Attention Copilot does. We help you unlock flow, no matter what state you find yourself in when you sit down to work.

We’ve done more than 120 sessions, and that count is growing weekly. We’ve guided people into flow states on the things they care most about. And now, we’re moving out of our inaugural pilot into a full-fledged coaching service.

We’d love to work with you. Feel free to reach out to me directly at pranab@attncopilot.com if you have any questions. I’m here to help.

What Is Attention Copilot Helpful For?

Deep-Work Projects

Coding, creating, writing, strategy — many of the most high-value, attention-intensive tasks have also become the most difficult to do in our distraction-laden world. Attention Copilot helps you dig deep and find profound sources of creativity and concentration.

Major Decisions

If there’s been a decision you’ve been putting off, or mulling over, or simply struggling to gain clarity on, Attention Copilot can help you sort through your competing priorities and find clarity amidst the noise of your mind.

Annoying Must-Dos

Taxes, emails, proposals, your resume: It can be difficult (and, if you have ADHD, virtually impossible) to generate the motivation to do certain tasks on your own. Attention Copilot helps you dissolve the tension surrounding those unpleasant tasks, and find flow instead.

“Maybe Someday”s

Been planning to write that first Substack post for a few months — or years? Have a music album you’ve been tinkering on… and avoiding? Finally gonna get around to that book idea, or YouTube channel, or non-profit initiative? Let Attention Copilot help.

Tough Tasks

Debugging complex code, building a new financial forecast model, creating a go-to-market analysis, designing a product spec — these are heady, multi-layered tasks. Attention Copilot can help you break them down, and even enjoy tackling them.

Who Can Benefit Most?

We’ve helped everyone from computational neuroscientists and AI engineers to writers and YouTube creators — and college students, too. If your work involves a heavy cognitive or creative burden, Attention Copilot can likely help.

  • Getting into flow shouldn't feel like rolling dice.

Coding and research require sustained deep focus, but getting there reliably is hard. Context switching costs you hours. Small decisions pile up and drain your clarity.

Attention Copilot helps you establish flow states consistently and maintain the meta-awareness that makes vibecoding and architectural thinking possible. Think of it as having a spotter for your attention while you do your most demanding technical work.

  • The hardest part of creating isn't the craft—it's putting yourself in it.

Writer's block, perfectionism, the fear of being seen—these aren't productivity problems, they're identity challenges. Every time you sit down to create, you're putting your sense of Self into the work. That vulnerability can trigger resistance that stops you before you even begin.

Attention Copilot creates a container where you can work through the fears and inner conflicts as they arise, in real-time. We help you access the parts of yourself that want to create and develop a sustainable relationship with the creative process itself.

  • Quality of output > quantity of hours.

As a founder, your decisions have huge impact. But you're making them while juggling investor updates, team conflicts, product pivots, and cash flow anxiety. Simply "doing more" won't get you there. Working longer hours on the wrong things just compounds the problem.

Attention Copilot helps you access your clearest, most grounded state when it matters most. Whether you're refining your pitch deck, making a critical hire, or pivoting your strategy, we create space for your most thoughtful, highly-leveraged work.

  • Knowledge work is creative work. Overwhelm is a signal.

Knowledge work isn't about processing information. It''s about synthesis, judgment, and creativity. But that feels impossible when your attention is fragmented across a dozen competing priorities.

Attention Copilot helps you cut through the noise and reclaim your capacity for deep thinking. Learn to work on what actually matters, with the clarity and presence the work deserves.

  • Finding signal in noise requires clarity within yourself first.

Your work demands pattern recognition across vast information, judgment to know what matters, and conviction to act decisively. But it's easy to mistake anxiety for insight or confuse momentum with opportunity.

Attention Copilot helps you cultivate the internal clarity that makes external pattern recognition possible. We help you access the grounded, spacious awareness that produces your best analytical thinking and most confident decisions.

Clients are getting results.

FAQs

Why should I have someone coach me while I work?

Imagine that you’re trying to learn tennis. You hire a coach. But there’s a catch: Your coach never actually steps onto a court with you. Never watches you hit, never corrects your strokes in real time. All your coach does is give you information — describes the mechanics of forehands and backhands, explains the physics of topspin. How successful do you think you’d be at learning tennis? Not very, right?

For some reason, we know that we need real-time coaching and training in virtually every area of our lives except working. Attention Copilot coaches are specialized in removing the barriers to flow and unlocking effortless action as you work. They can see when tension is blocking you from being productive. They can help you resolve inner conflicts that are at the root of why you procrastinate. They can help you find a sense of calm, and even joy, as you tackle thorny projects.

In our experience, guided meditations, breathwork, therapy, and other modalities are foundational. But when it comes to working with distractions on the stuff that matters most, we’ve found that there’s nothing quite like a real, expert human using those principles to guide you in the moment.

What does a session look like?

You and your coach will get on Zoom. Your coach will walk you through an interactive exercise to help you get unblocked, clear, and calm. You’ll bring up a task, or decision, or idea that’s important to you. Then, your coach will not only help you break the project down into smaller parts, articulate what success looks like, and figure out next steps, but actually sit with you while you work, and help you dissolve tension and inner conflict as they arise, in real time.

As you work, you’ll be guided through short, structured working blocks—typically 5 to 15 minutes—and, whenever you start getting distracted or stressed, your coach will be there to help you feel grounded and relaxed again. It’s truly a different experience of work.

What kinds of research and techniques inform Attention Copilot?

We draw from a long, well-studied lineage of powerful modalities, each of which has substantial clinical or decades of anecdotal evidence to support its efficacy.

Some of the core methodologies include Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Experience, open-awareness meditation, jhanas, mental noting, and chunking. We find that the combination of all of these tools together, in a specific sequence, makes for a very potent combination.

How is this better than “body doubling” or coworking?

Body-doubling is a passive project: while you might set some intentions at the beginning, each of you is on your own once the work starts.

Attention Copilot offers active guidance for your attentional and emotional state, with real-time intervention when resistance arises. With body-doubling, you might spend entire sessions stuck in avoidance patterns. We address blocks immediately, helping you move through them with more clarity and ease.

How is this better than an accountability group or coach?

Accountability focuses on reviewing the work you’ve completed and setting future goals. It’s great, but Attention Copilot happens during the actual work, addressing resistance as it emerges. More importantly, we emphasize connection over accountability, helping you reconnect with your authentic motivations and values around the work itself. In that expanded state, accountability naturally emerges.

    Pranab Sachithanandan

    CO-FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

I've spent years deepening “inner work” and applying it directly to practical life problems. My background spans contemplative meditation practice, Internal Family Systems therapy, productivity systems, and coaching founders through their hardest decisions.

Before this, I was an early growth hire at startups like Jhourney, Odyssey, and Charlie Health.

    Sam Rosen

    CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF GROWTH

Most recently, I ran the Waking Up meditation app. Before that, I led the consumer businesses of The Atlantic and The Information. I also have two decades of experience in mindfulness, four decades of living with ADHD, and an unshakeable penchant for music (specifically jazz) and tennis.

I spent years living in a hardcore spiritual community, which definitely turned out to be a cult.
