Longer customer notes.

Some clients had more to say about what changed in their actual workday: how they use the tools, what got easier, and what they are able to get done now.

Most people have never really been taught what deep work looks like, or experienced how much they can get done when they block out the noise and focus. The sessions create a weekly space to shut out the noise for two hours and prioritize. Do it enough times, and it starts to become a habit I can carry into my other mornings, not just something that happens when you have the meeting scheduled. It's really a form of training.

CEO, exited founder (acq. DocuSign)

What triggered me to reach out was overwhelm. I was inefficient and mentally blocked, firefighting between coaching, startup work, and life admin, unable to segment or triage any of it. Honestly, I was spinning.

We went slow to go fast. Meditation, somatic exploration, and then check-ins while I did the actual work. We'd land on a powerful mantra together each session to return to a more grounded place, and one of them is on a sticky note on my desk. I use it most days.

Months later, the equanimity has stayed with me, especially as my new CEO role has ramped up. Before, overwhelm meant analysis paralysis and checking out. That hardly happens now.

With knowledge work, it's all about leverage, and this is one of the highest-leverage ways anyone could spend money. I've done a lot of coaching, a lot of non-dual and consciousness practices. I've never experienced anything that melds it together quite like this.

Attention Copilot made me way more effective at my job. Maybe even more importantly, it taught me how to enjoy it.

I didn't even fully realize it, but I was spending much of my working day tensed and anxious. This created a sub-conscious avoidance loop where thinking about work would make me feel stressed, and then I would either try to avoid thinking about it or just strong-arm myself into it. Attention Copilot showed me that work can feel easy, fun, and flowy. And not only is it really nice to feel that way, I'm also way more productive.

It was such a grind... maybe you've seen someone at the gym lifting and they're just doing too damn much, grunting and screaming, their form is bad... you can barely watch because you're waiting for them to pull their hamstring or something. I was acting like that in my day to day work, without realizing it at all. In fact, I kind of thought it was good. Working so hard must mean I'm really getting stuff done, right? But think about what a real athlete looks like during their training and performance. They're not... doing all that. They're working hard, but they flow in the movement.

Attention Copilot showed me how to approach my work like a real athlete rather than like a bad-form, back-wrenching gym-grinder.

Attention Copilot gives you a set of tools. You use the tools to attend to difficult work feelings, and loosen or dissolve them. Then you use the tools to get into "flow," and you do your work. Nowadays, I usually spend about 15-30 minutes interspersed throughout the day doing exercises they taught me. In exchange, I get (literally) twice as much done, and my day is way more fun. It's like sailing with the wind at my back. Joyful, easy, and breezy.

I've done a lot of different stuff. Thousands of hours of meditation. At least a couple hundred hours of therapeutic modalities.

Even with all of that, the session of Attentional Copiloting was a completely unique experience.

One of the first activities I've engaged in that I think can help bridge the gap between inner work and productivity. I recommend it.

A key difference is that after settling in with some meditation or parts work, you try to get some real work done. Thus, you have a chance to see and debug the obstacles that actually arise when you try to be productive.
